There is no definite moment.
The first memories related to the world of motorcycles go back to childhood, when with a little bicycle and a magnolia leaf between the spokes, I pretended to have a motorcycle.
After a few years, that little bike was replaced first by the Peg-Perego Tenere and later by the “Ciao”, while the backyard with the trees present was my “track”.
Therapeutic
I would recommend trying it out. Rely on competent people who can teach it safely and try riding it. It is dangerous, it is true, but with the right technique and awareness of our surroundings, we can deal with it as best we can. Other advice...never go out without protection!
There are several unforgettable ones, but perhaps one among them particularly struck me.
On one of my first motorcycle rides, I was going up with a couple of friends on Monte Grappa when at one point we were enveloped in thick fog...so thick that on the right side, instead of seeing the mountainside coming down, we could only see the white of the fog.
There on the instant I thought I had caught the wrong day to climb to the top, but shortly thereafter I realized I had been dead wrong.
A few bends before the summit, in fact, as if flipped by a switch, the white gave way in the blink of an eye to a deep blue. We had passed through the clouds that were now below us, like whipped cream. I sat on the grass a few minutes enjoying that view. Above us only blue, and below us a bed of clouds.
An unforgettable view.
The first bike was a Gsr600, bought for a penny in 2012. Aesthetically it was not my favorite, but my budget was limited. Despite this, I really had a lot of fun with her, learned a lot, and it gave me a lot of satisfaction!
The best trip I've taken on a motorcycle was to the 5 terre with my girlfriend a couple of years ago.
It was a nice mix of emotions, including the fact that it was her first real motorcycle ride.
Unfortunately, yes.
In 2022 I had a bad accident on the track in Cremona.
I lost the front end in turn 1, for those who don't know it is a very fast left turn.
The result? Wrecked bike and me caroming in gravel without stopping.
The airbag saved my life and my bones. I got up without a scratch, just a few bumps.
The bike, on the other hand, was destroyed...
This made me realize even more the importance of protection and technical clothing. Never cut corners when our safety is at stake.
If before, when I lived in Veneto it was Cima Grappa and the Cost of Asiago, now that I live in Piedmont it is Lake Moncenisio. It's a stone's throw from home, it has nice curves, and the view once you get to the top leaves you breathless.
I base it on several factors. Partly on past experience (for example, when some updated model comes out such as Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 and Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 Corsa), partly from the composition of the tire. Using the bike mostly on the road, I prefer a sporty but not extreme tire that will give me good mileage.
I don't have a specific model. The ones I liked the most were the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 and the old Bridgestone BT016 PRO. Now I have recently fitted Dunlop Sportsmart TTs, and I am sure they will give me great satisfaction.
Always look ahead of the car (or motorcycle) in front of you.
That way you will be more responsive if needed.
I was inspired by some friends from the old company in Veneto, I liked the smooth ride they had, “dancing” between the curves without overdoing it unnecessarily.
Fortunately, it is the one I own, although the 2016 S1000rr, with which I had the accident on the track, has remained in my heart.
Probably still the same 2016 S1000rr.
Without economic limits? All of them!
Who wouldn't want to have a Panigale Superleggera, a Desmosedici RR, an RSV4 Factory, a Gs, etc.?
Fortunately, with good maintenance, I have never had any particular problems with motorcycles other than routine things.
Again, unfortunately, I repeat myself.... The accident with the S1000
At the moment, no, both because of the lack of excitement and the limited range.
Learn the right technique, think about having fun, and don't do it to prove something to others.
Ride at your own pace, have fun and don't think about anything else.
A ride in Veneto in Forni di Zoldo, where we turned around because the road was covered with ice, and one here in Piedmont in Bardonecchia with an outside temperature of 1 degree.
Unfortunately, yes...a couple of times.
Yes, I don't mind, although more caution is still needed.
I imagine it too technological for my taste.
I just hope it's not electric.
In my opinion that's not the right direction to go.
With the blog I try to give those tips that I myself would have liked to have received when I was a novice, while in the profile I leave room for my passion for photography.
No, no specific place. Sometimes I stop during the tours, other times I go out in search of some area that inspires me to take some shots.
I would like to organize a nice event with the various pages I have, let's see if the future holds anything interesting.
I am satisfied with the community I have, there is a nice interaction and I have had the pleasure of meeting people with whom we have become great friends.
Ever since the first S1000rr I had, I was captivated by its engine and the bike in general.
After changing 3 models, namely the 2010, 2016 and 2019, I decided to create with the support of a friend the page dedicated to owners and enthusiasts of this bike present throughout Italy.
Today the page is growing and the interaction with followers is increasing.
I am really happy to have given space to RR enthusiasts and we will soon organize something together!
I would like to undertake some work activity related to the motorcycle world.
I met you guys through Instagram. I had recently created the blog and social profile and was browsing through various motorcycle product companies.
We were two “fresh,” recently born pages, but we had one thing in common right away. The site was well-structured and for both of us the goal of providing great service to followers shone through.
The hashtag I would use is #perlamotosologripmoto. An adjective I would use instead is “complete,” since you can find tires for every taste!
I had the good fortune and pleasure to see a great development. Both on the social part and on the site.
Initially we collaborated in the creation of some informative posts.
Subsequently, the section "useful tips" was born, where with some dedicated articles we have given some tips to those who do not know how to orient themselves in the choice of tires.
Now the site is full of advice and is structured to easily find the right tire for every bike and every need.
I also saw a growth on the social side, where your presence has increased greatly, both for the number of posts and their presentation, as well as stories.
Now, the monthly contest makes even more followers participate.
In my opinion, the photo that most represents me is this.
The aggressiveness of the motorcycle headlights, ready for what awaits me in the future... and the look that turns backwards to the past, not to forget the road made until now.
It would be nice for next year, to organize a great event together!
ndr. Who knows what will happen 😉
